Stock Market Live Updates 11 April 2025: Sensex, Nifty maintain uptrend, up over 1.5%; metal stocks lead the charge 

Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices LIVE: The benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty built on their strong start to hold gains of nearly 2 per cent by mid-morning on Friday. At 11:18 am, Sensex was at 75,160.77, up 1313.62 points or 1.78 per cent higher. Nifty was at 22,827.55, up 428.40 points or 1.91 per cent. The top gainers on the Nifty 50 were Hindalco (up 4.94%), Tata Steel (4.4%), JSW Steel (4.28%), Kotak Bank (3.78%) and Trent (3.76%). The laggards were Nestle India (down 0.84%), Asian Paints (0.80%) and Apollo Hospitals (0.60%). The market sentiment was positive with 2,404 stocks advancing, against 310 declining, and 87 remaining unchanged. 28 stocks hit their 52-week high and 10 their 52-week low.
